Amanda Lynn DiRocco, 43, departed this life on October 11, 2024, at Salem Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her cherished loved ones. Amanda was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, born March 14, 1981, in East Liverpool, Ohio. Amanda's kind heart, infectious laughter, and warm soul have left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Amanda proudly graduated from Leetonia High School and continued her education at Youngstown State University. She spent a decade working as a waitress at Bob Evans, where her friendly demeanor and attentive service made her a favorite among both colleagues and regular customers. Her career was filled with moments of laughter and joy, reflections of her vibrant personality.
Amanda was deeply passionate about cooking, often delighting her family with her culinary creations. Her love for food was only rivaled by her artistic talents; she was a gifted painter, specializing in oil paint portraits that captured the essence of her subjects. Amanda took great pride in her artwork, finding joy in sharing pieces of her soul through each painting.
Amanda is survived by her devoted husband, Jim DiRocco, who shared their lives together filled with love and laughter. Her father, Michael Mancuso, mother, Betty Gori, and step-father, Ray Gori, will carry her memory in their hearts forever. Amanda’s spirit will continue to shine through her son, Ethan Mancuso, and she leaves behind her sister Marcie Mancuso and brother Michael (Melissa) Mancuso, who were lucky to have her as a sibling. The bond she shared with her step-sister Christina (Doug) Brown, as well as her cherished nephews Eric Dicross, Mikey Mancuso, Wyatt Brown, and nieces Isabella Mancuso and Cecilia Mancuso, will remain a source of comfort and inspiration.
