Amanda Janet Giffin-Ralphs, age 79, of West Point, Utah, passed away peacefully in her home on September 6, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Amanda was born on April 23, 1946, in Maine. She married Fredrick Giffin and together they were blessed with four daughters. Later in life, she married Mike Ralphs and expanded her family with love and devotion.
She is survived by her two daughters and their families, including her 15 beloved grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and other loved ones who welcomed her into eternity.
Amanda worked for more than 30 years at Davis North Hospital, where she was known for her dedication and kindness. She had many passions, including golf, gardening in her beautiful yard, card games with friends, cooking holiday dinners, and listening to country music. A hot cup of Folgers coffee was a daily comfort she never went without.
The family would like to thank Symbii Hospice for all of their help.
Graveside services will be held Friday September 19, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the West Point Cemetery, 101 N. 3830 W., West Point, Utah.
Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah.
