Amanda “Mandy” O’nell Block, 49, of Vinton, Ohio, died Tuesday, January 6, 2026, in Ohio State University East Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio, following a brief illness.
Amanda was born in Columbus June 29, 1976, daughter of Terry Eugene and Tammy Mae (Chapman) Block, Vinton, Ohio. Mandy attended Calvary Christian Center Church, Gallipolis, Ohio and was a Foster Parent to many children in need, who she took great pride in helping.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children Alexander Lucas, Sophia Lucas and Angelina Lucas, all of Vinton; sister, Tara Block, Vinton; nieces, Maegan Kessell, Vinton, Grace Moore, Patriot, Ohio and nephew, George Block, Vinton; paternal grandmother, Mary Block, Bidwell, Ohio and several aunts, uncles and extended family members.
Mandy was preceded by paternal grandfather, George Block and maternal grandmother, Bonnie Parks.
Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 17, 2026, in the Pinnacle Church, Main Street, Vinton, Ohio. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, is honored to serve the Block Family.
