Phyllis Gibson Obituary
Phyllis Kay Gibson, 81, Bidwell, Ohio passed away on December 25, 2025 at Holzer Medical Center. She was born on July 18, 1944, in Vinton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Reno and Cora Jane (Berry) Spencer.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children: Lisa (Tim) Mount, Gallipolis, Ohio, Theresa (Archie) Marcum and Russel O. Gibson, Jr., both of Bidwell, Ohio; grandchildren: Philip (Samantha) Mount, Alan (Lindsey) Mount, Timmy (Haley) Mayse III, Deven Marcum, Baiden Marcum, Kenna Gibson, Scott Gibson and Kelsie Gibson; twelve great-grandchildren and sister Janet (Paul) Oiler, Vinton, Ohio.
In addition to her parents Phyllis was preceded in death by husband, Russel Olen Gibson, Sr., one grandson, eight brothers and three sisters.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, January 2, 2026, at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel with Pastor Randy Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at Brush Cemetery, Vinton, Ohio. Family and friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 AM, to the time of service.
