Amanda Jocelyne Olguin, 38, passed away September 30,2025. She was a beloved daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Amanda was born on September 13,1987 in Sweetwater TX, finished her formative years in Abilene, TX. She attended Abilene High School.

My daughter was a smart gal; end of middle school year she was invited to Duke University to take early sat's for college needless to say she was always bored with school (ha!) And later just got her GED. She was very active in softball where she started playing since tball and had met her dear friend till the end Trisha Gonzales, they were inseparable in their young years, till they were grown adults. Thank you, Trisha, for always being there for my daughter when she really needed you, and that's not to leave out Samantha dent, thank you for always hearing her out when she needed yall, I can't express that enough! To all my family as well, we all know she was handful at times, I know my village was always there for us both. Her lifeline was her granddad/daddy who helped raise her, who she has gone to be reunited with. We lost him to the battle of cancer on August 8th, 2025, we will miss them both dearly!

Amanda is survived by her mother Joann Cano and brother Nicolas Hernandez of Abilene, grandmother, Connie Olguin, granddad, late Daniel Olguin of Sweetwater, aunt Denise, (Jesse) Carrion of Roby, uncle Daniel (Patty) Olguin of Sweetwater. Cousins: Devin (Priscilla), Donovan, and Jennika (Daniel) of Roby, Javier, Meghann of Sweetwater. Several great aunts, great uncles and great cousin who loved her, and will miss her.

Pallbearers: Nicolas Hernandez, Felipe Hernandez, Jesse Carrion, Javier Olguin, Jennika Carrion, and Samantha Dent
