Amanda Stricklin

Amanda Carol Stricklin (Gonzalez) 36, of San Antonio, TX and Beebe, AR went to her heavenly home on May 19, 2022. She passed away in her mother's arms, just as when she was born.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Clarence Smith Sr.; her paternal grandparents Dick and Daisy Stricklin; her aunts Barbara Ruple, Betty Henson and Patricia Smith.
She is survived by her daughter Kaitlyn Starkey; her parents Ricky and Kim Stricklin; a brother, Justin Stricklin of Texas, her grandmother, Carol Smith of Rudy, AR; a very special niece Ellie Stricklin, a very special nephew Jacob Stricklin and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins.
Amanda was a very loving, kind and compassionate person. She was a proud mother and her daughter was her world. Her parents felt the same about Amanda. She grew up in Beebe and graduated from Beebe High School. She was always smiling with the most beautiful, ever-present smile that brightened everyone's life. She never met a stranger. She had a great personality and sense of humor. She was an avid Razorback fan who loved to talk football with her dad. She loved the beach and sunsets. She had a special place in her heart for animals of every kind. Especially, her bunnies and cats.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on June 4, 2022 at First Baptist Church 101 Hwy. 64, Beebe, AR. Family visitation will follow. A private burial will be at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, in Beebe.
