Amanda Jane Worley, age 72, of Davisburg, Michigan, passed away on November 8, 2024. She was born in Pontiac, Michigan on August 21, 1952 to loving parents Cecil and Mildred. Amanda was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her two children; Scott (Linda) Worley and April Worley. Her siblings; Kenneth (Mary Leah) Adkins, Dallas Adkins, and Pamela (Warren) Service. Grandchildren; Alexandrea, Courtney, and Carson. Great grandchildren; Kandace and Rhett. She is preceded in death by her parents Cecil Ethmer and Mildred Marie Adkins (nee Majors); and her brothers; Ronald (Phyllis) and Barry (Florence) Adkins.
Amanda graduated from Kettering High School in 1970. Amanda was a woman of creativity. She flourished as a manicurist and nail technician. Amanda was the queen of crocheting, and her beautiful creations were a testament to her skills and attention to detail. Her love of life extended too many passions. Amanda enjoyed gardening, euchre, and the Mackinac Bridge. Her quick wit, infectious laughter, and love for conversation made her the life of any room. Always quick with a clever remark, she was known for her ability to always get in the last word. Her heart was as big as her laugh. Amanda was a loving friend to all who knew her, always ready to lend a hand or offer a listening ear. Her work ethic is unmatched, and she approached life with a spirit of dedication and determination that inspired those around her.
Amanda will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her family, friends, and community will forever carry her memory in their hearts, remembering the joy she brought, the laughter she shared, and the love she gave so freely. A memorial gathering will be held at Waterford Church of Christ at noon on November 19, 2024.
