Amber Elizabeth Cooper, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, and mother went home to be with her Heavenly Father on November 19, 2023. Born on September 3, 1989, Amber brought joy and love to everyone she encountered throughout her life.
Amber will forever be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her children. She cherished every moment spent with them and took immense pride in being the best mom she could be. Her love for her children was evident in everything she did.
In addition to her role as a mother, Amber possessed an incredibly caring and compassionate nature. Those who knew her would agree that she was the most loving person they had ever met, radiating both inner and outer beauty. Her kind heart touched the lives of many and left an indelible mark on their souls.
Amber embraced life's experiences wholeheartedly and found solace in various hobbies and interests. She loved traveling with her family, creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever. Visiting the lake was one of Amber's favorite pastimes—a place where she could relax with her loved ones while fishing and enjoying each other's company. Alongside these adventuresome pursuits, Amber found joy in shopping and indulging in pampering sessions at the salon. She also considered herself an "aspiring cook," and even if her efforts didn't turn out perfectly, you knew they were made with love.
Amber and her husband Scott became members of Okolona Christian Church three years ago, and in March of 2022, she formally dedicated her life to Christ—an decision that filled hers and Scott's hearts with immeasurable joy.
Amber is survived by her loving husband Scott, who stood by her side throughout their journey together. Her children—Junior Smith, Chase Smith, Caylee Cooper—and stepdaughter Chloe will carry their mother's memory in their hearts forever. Dennis Smith, Amber's father, also mourns the loss of his dear daughter. The void left by her passing is deeply felt by her sisters Nadine, Kayla, and Ashlee.
Memories of Amber will be celebrated during visitation services held at the Louisville Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home East on November 27th and 28th, 2023. The first visitation will commence on the 27th from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The following day, friends and family are invited to pay their respects from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a heartfelt funeral service at 12:00 PM.
Amber Elizabeth Cooper's vibrant spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. She touched lives with her kindness, selflessness, and love. As we bid farewell to Amber, let us remember her for the joy she brought into our lives and cherish the legacy of compassion she leaves behind.
