Ambrocio Leroy Gonzales

Ambrocio Leroy Gonzales, age 78, born in Belen, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on December 4, 2025. Ambrocio is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Darlene Gonzales; children, Greg Gonzales, Denise Gomez and husband, Ryan, and Randy Gonzales; grandchildren, Sophia, Isabella, Cole, and Reese; great-grandson, Jaxon; siblings, Helen Aramburo, Milton Gonzales and wife, Christine, Elis Rivera, Trinidad Gonzales, and Raymond Gonzales; many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albino and Juanita Gonzales; brother, Melecio Gonzales. Ambrocio served his country proudly in the United States Army where he was honorably discharged. The family would like to take this time to thank the incredible VA Medical staff, ICU and Hospice unit in bldg. 80 for their kindness and loving care of their beloved Ambrocio. A Visitation will be held Friday, December 19, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. a Mass to follow at 10:15 a.m. all to be held at St. Jude’s Thaddeus Catholic Church located at 5712 Paradise Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114. A Burial will take place at a later date.
