Amelia J. Baurle, 61, of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.
Amy was born in Louisville on September 2, 1962.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles A. Baurle and Esther F. Noe Baurle, her brother, Charles A. Baurle Jr. and her brother-in-law, Jimmy L. Barber.
She is survived by her sister Mary L. Barber and her children, Kevin, Laura, Sarah and Megan and also survived by her brother, Richard E. Griffith (Gloria) and his children Kendall and Catherine as well as numerous great nieces and nephews from their families.
Amy lived her entire life in her hometown, formerly working as a nurse. She was a caring person who loved her family and friends, animals and music. She enjoyed hearing all the family updates and always wanted photos, especially of the new babies. She was never without a faithful friend (cat or dog). Even until the end with her sweet dog, Itsy Bitsy, by her side. Amy was artistic, an avid reader, the life of the party and had an infectious laugh. She will be remembered for her love, her sense of humor and gift of storytelling.
Cremation has taken place and to honor Amy's memory, a celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 4th from 5-7:30 p.m. at:
Adventure Christian Church
