He was preceded in death by his wife, Debra L. Davis and a daughter, Phyllis Ramirez.
Surviving are children: Amos B. Davis Jr., (Buzzy), John Davis, Jimmy Farmer (Melinda), Sherman Waldrop, and Laura "Brandy" Davis-Dunn (Russell Benton); grandchildren: Amanda (Drew) LeQuire, Matthew Davis, Kaitlin Morgan, Cody Waldrop, Sadie Dunn, Seth Farmer, Coalton Dunn, Kelsey Farmer, Tori Benton, Dixie Waldrop and Chris Benton; great-grandchildren: Everly Morgan, Madilynn Farmer, Davina Dunn, Rainlynn Dunn, and Everett Morgan.
Visitation will be 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, Tuesday, May 20, 2025, in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home, with a graveside service to follow in the Davis Family Cemetery in Spring City
