Amy Curt Obituary

Visit the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home website to view the full obituary.

Amy Ann Curt, born June 29, 1963, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, in Waukesha, with her family by her side. Amy lived with a determined spirit, a willingness to try anything once, and a heart that welcomed people with ease. She moved through life with a natural spark — always ready to go, always ready to connect, always ready to brighten someone’s day.

Music and art were her favorite pastimes, and she colored her world with an intensity and passion that made everything around her more vivid. Whether she was creating, listening, laughing, or simply being present, Amy brought warmth, energy, and vibrancy to every moment.

She is survived by her mother, Mary; her sisters Kelly Curt and Polly (Kerry) Koppen; her brother Joel Curt; and her beloved nieces and nephews — Katie, Jack, Cris, Nick, and Alex — each of whom she cherished deeply. She is also survived by her uncles John (Chris) Biser, David (Cindi) Biser, Lynn (Lisa) Curt, and Alan Curt; and her aunts Pat LaGree and Vera (Vic) Hess. Among her survivors are many other relatives and countless friends who felt her kindness and lively spirit throughout the years.

Amy was preceded in death by her father, Joel; her grandparents Thomas and Vera Biser and Albert and Ida Mae Curt; her aunt Joann (John) Connell; and her aunt Carolyn Curt.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to The Brown House for welcoming Amy into their home and caring for her with compassion over the years. They also wish to thank the Easter Seals Day Program of Waukesha for the opportunities, support, and joy they brought into her life, as well as Holy Apostles for their monthly programs and activities that Amy looked forward to so dearly. Deep appreciation is extended to the many others in the community who worked with Amy and enriched her life in countless ways. Special thanks are given to the ProHealth teams at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and AngelsGrace for their care and support.

Those who knew Amy will remember her determination, her love of people and music, her artistic fire, and her joyful instinct to be on the move. Her presence was bright, bold, and unforgettable — and her memory will continue to color the lives of all who loved her.

Visitation will take place at Corpus Christi Parish-St. William Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. followed by a Rosary Service at 10:45 a.m. The funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow the Mass and private entombment will take place at Prairie Home Cemetery. If desired, memorials in Amy’s name are appreciated to Easterseals Southeast Wisconsin or to AngelsGrace Hospice.
