Amy J. Delancey

Amy J. Delancey, 49, of Thompsontown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
Born on April 11, 1976, in Lewistown, Mifflin County, she is a daughter of Jay A. Jr. and Doris E. (Ranck) Mingle of Thompsontown.
On October 20, 2007, she married her surviving husband, Christian M. "Chris" Delancey, with whom she was blessed to share over 18 years of marriage with before her passing.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by her children, Morgan R. Gearhart and her husband Brody of Mifflintown, Brooke C. Knouse and her husband Alex of Richfield, and Matthew D. Delancey of Thompsontown; and one granddaughter, Rowyn Gearhart.
Mrs. Delancey was a 1994 graduate of East Juniata High School in Cocolamus and had attended the Church of the Open Door, Evendale.
She was currently employed as a Clinical Research Coordinator with CARE - Capital Area Research, LLC in Camp Hill.
Amy will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter whose nurturing and caring way was not only expressed to her family but also extended towards her patients who will miss her kindness and caring demeanor and her ability to go above and beyond for them.
Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the East Salem Community Church, 7398 Route 235, Mifflintown with Pastor Jerry Knouse and Pastor Doug Mellott officiating. Interment will be private.
A visitation will be held from 1:30 PM until the time of the Memorial Services at 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 7th at the church.
