Terry W. Spece

Terry W. Spece, 88, of Ickesburg, passed away on Friday, October 31st, 2025 at 8:40 a.m. at Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center, Enola. Born on November 14,1936 in Thompsontown, Juniata County, he is the son of the late William D. and Hazel V. (Shelley) Spece. He is survived by his children, Billie Jo Mosley and husband, Earl, William G. "Greg" Spece, Melissa Sheaffer and husband, Terry, step-children Jeff Nulton and wife, Brenda, Sabrina Gray and husband, Gary, Elizabeth "Gi Gi" Baker, and Dixie Minnich. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and three sisters, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara J. (Harling) Spece and second wife, LaWanda Spece, with whom he shared thirty-one years of marriage before her passing on April 8, 2018. Terry was also preceded in death by a step-daughter, Barb Nulton and granddaughter, Sarah Baker. Mr. Spece worked as a truck driver for Kaplan Trucking, Robert Hack, Albert Gray, and Butch Frymoyer. After retirement Terry was a driver for several Amish friends. He attended Abundant Harvest Church in Duncannon,PA. Terry loved to hunt and fish, and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles, Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Flyers fan. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 10th, 2025 at The Journey Christian Church, 10110 William Penn Highway, Thompsontown, PA 17094 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tim Eshenour and Terry's son-in-law, Pastor Terry Sheaffer officiating. Interment will be private in the Landisburg Assembly of God Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Terry's memory may be made to Abundant Harvest Church, P. O. Box 155, Duncannon, PA 17020 or to Higher Ground Assembly of God, 7713 Route 35, Mt.
