Amy Kathleen Hester, born on February 21, 1973, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, passed away on January 2, 2026, at The Medical Center. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, cherished by her family and friends.
Amy had a deep love for spending time with her family. She dedicated much of her life to caring for others, always putting their needs before her own. Cooking was one of her greatest passions, and she delighted in preparing meals that brought her loved ones together. Her grandbabies held a special place in her heart, and she enjoyed every moment spent with them, watching them grow and thrive.
Amy had a fondness for the beach, where she loved to watch the dolphins play in the waves. These memories will remain etched in the hearts of those who knew her.
She is survived by her father, Harold Hester (Betty), her brothers, Gary Pedigo and Justin Hester, her daughter, Shelby Neurorh (Jordan), her son, Scotty (Susan), and her godchild, Lillie McClanahan. Amy also leaves behind three precious grandbabies who will carry her memory forward.
Amy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ora and Garland Hester, Patricia Kathleen Burchett, her mother, Patricia Pedigo and a special family friend, Christine Cowles.
Amy Kathleen Hester will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the warmth she brought into the lives of everyone around her. She will be greatly missed.
