Amy Renee Jones

Rush Springs, OK - Amy Renee Jones, age 67, beloved Mother and Nae-Nae, Sister, Aunt, and Friend, passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Renee was born June 19, 1957 in Wiesbaden, Germany. After her father's military relocation, the family settled in Rush Springs, OK where Renee and her brothers attended school. After graduating RSHS, while raising three children and working on the family farm, Renee continued her education at the University of Science and Arts, earning her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, teaching for 33 years.
Family was the center of Renee's life with her home always hosting family dinners and friends, where laughter and making memories were in abundance. She was dedicated to her successful career as an educator, retiring from Rush Springs Public Schools, but her greatest joy came from her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed attending their many activities and was their biggest cheerleader and supporter.
Renee's positive attitude toward life was exhibited in her work ethic and in her comradery with her fellow teachers and students. Renee's positive outlook nurtured students in the classroom while actively sharing their lives in all school and community activities. Her lively spirit and love for her students was always sprinkled with the best sense of humor, making her a most "unforgettable" teacher and friend.
Renee, a member of the Southern Baptist Church, exhibited a strong Christian faith which sustained her, enabling her to share Godly wisdom with her family and her friends. Renee was the light that shined brightly in this world, loving her family, her students, and her friends with all her heart. Never to be forgotten by all who loved her, Renee was the best Mother, Nae-Nae, Teacher, and Friend.
Renee is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Ruby Beard, and her brother, Lionel Lee Beard. Her legacy lives on in her loving family of three children: son, Jerome Jones and wife Regina; son, Kyle Jones and wife, Rebecca, and daughter; Jamie Parrish and husband, Trent. 11 grandchildren: Kaytie Jones and Ashley, Dillon Jones and Aaliyah, Cord Jones, Sydney Jones and Jace, Zach Long, Ramsey Jones, Rylan Jones, Kenton Jones, Case Parrish, Teagan Parrish, and Jalyn Parrish. Brothers: Terry Glen Beard and wife, Kathy, and Ralph Finley Beard and wife Mayme. Renee also loved and had great affection for all her nieces and nephews, the Jones family, and her many friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Vicki Jones, Janel Domurat, Kim Jones, Betty White, Kathy Beard, Mayme Beard, Kim Zalewski, Robin Beard, Beth Fitzpatrick, Becky Fitzgerald, Emily Upright, Laurie Sweeting, Brad White, Terry Glen Beard, Mike Domurat, Ralph Finley Beard, and Tim Beard.
