I will always cherish our time in writer's group. Amy's incredible talent will be remembered. She touched so many lives with her grace and humor, her love of family and friends.

I met Amy virtually years ago through adoption and loved our connection through our boys, sunsets, and love of our fur babies. Amy will always have a space in my heart and will continue to enjoy watching her beautiful son grow into an amazing man. I enjoyed her daily posts which either involved a beautiful sunset or a funny caption that always made me laugh. I have a attached a recent sunset I witnessed a few days ago. This one´s for you Amy. You are truly missed.

I got to know Amy through the adoption of our children from Guatemala. I was privileged to meet her when my family crashed the Island campout. Over the years, we bonded over our shared crazy sense of humor and our love of books, dogs and boats. We would laugh 'til we cried over autocorrect texts, and we shared a great pride in our children. She was a great storyteller -- I remember one funny story about how she and her family were walking to the ice cream store while at their cabin, and there was a crazy neighbor who was firing a gun, so they were dodging bullets to get ice cream. I always looked forward to hearing from Amy. She was a bright light that sadly has gone dim, but her spirit will live on through her strong son and husband. Sending my deepest condolences. Amy is missed.
