Amy Rowe

Amy PInyan Rowe, 55, of Pawleys Island, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 after a brief health issue. With her mom and sister by her side, she went ahead peacefully and with so much love.
Amy was born in Columbia, South Carolina and grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida, in the idyllic Old Northeast neighborhood where she made lifelong friends. She enjoyed her days at St. Petersburg High, becoming involved in civic organizations and running around as teenagers do, often with her little sister in tow. She attended the American University of Paris and Simmons College in Boston, experiencing new people and places and making indelible memories.
Amy lived a life of service. She spent the last several years caring for our mom and for animals through a hobby and passion that evolved into a bustling business. She shared herself, her time, her resources, and her thoughtfulness with everyone around her. She loved her family, friends, and clients with dedication, generosity of spirit, and unmatched energy.
Amy is preceded in death by her father, Randolph McCuen Rowe, grandparents Dorothy Fordham, Katherine Lesemann Rowe, Claude Rowe, Sr., her aunt Katherine Dargan and uncles Robert Stephen Michael and Claude Rowe, Jr. She is survived by her mother, Penny, and sister, Katherine (Jon McGann) of Pawleys Island. She loved dearly her aunts Cindy Michael, Mary Rowe, and Phyllis Rowe, uncles Sam Dargan, Lee Fordham (Lori), and James Rowe, sweet cousins, and best friend Dawn Navolt of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
