Ana was a woman of simple joys and a big great heart. She loved to cook and bake, and the entire family loved her cooking. Her favorite colors were always green and purple. She loved to entertain people, especially her beloved family. She always had her door open for everyone and she loved cooking for them and making sure that they all felt at home in her house. Ana loved her family, and she always did everything in her power to show each person her love and support.
Ana Lebron Velasquez is survived by her sons and daughters: Jose Manuel (Tina), Jose Angel (Josefa), Diane Mary, Janette Mary (Anibal), Iliana Maria (Michael), and Andres (Pancho). She is also survived by her grandchildren, her great grandchildren, and her great great grandchildren: Rosanna Lecith, Anibal Jr., Benjamin, Joel Angel, Jose Jr., Caleb Gabriel, Eric, Adrian Josue, Bryan Manuel, Michael Jr., Tyler, Anthony, Courtney, Desire, Nathan, Mariah, Mya, Andres Jr., Angel, AJ, Emilia (Emi), Julian, Heidi, Nathan Caleb, Berend Abram, Luca, Sadian, Adrian, Josiah, and Mia. Her sisters Antonia, Carmen and Aida. She is preceded in death by her father Domingo, her mother Emilia, her sister Francisca Esther, and brothers Santo, Pedro and Benny. After days of battling with her sickness, her sister Carmen spoke to her in her ear asking if she wanted to go home to be with the Lord, and a minute later, with her son Jose Angel by her side, she passed away into eternity to be with her savior Jesus Christ.
Ana Lebron Velazquez made an enormous and lasting impact in all of our lives, and we will all truly miss her.
Visitation, Thursday, March 27, 2025, 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Sheldon-Goglin-Kaminski Funeral Home, 5935 W. Belmont Avenue, Chicago, Illinois.
Funeral, Friday, March 28, 2025, 10:00AM Service and Time of Remembrance to be held at the funeral home.
