Andora Irene Bahr, also known as Andi or Pookie, 59, of Bristol, IN passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at her home in Bristol. She was born on February 7, 1966 in Valparaiso, IN to the late Lexie George Evans and the late Sandra Violet (O'Brien) Evans.
Andi graduated from Westville High School. She worked for over 20 years as a department group leader as a quality control supervisor at Earthway Products in Bristol, IN. She married Jon C. Bahr on September 27, 2003; a marriage that lasted over 22 years. Andi loved her family and friends with her whole heart. She was very giving, caring, and selfless without a trace of prejudice. She would have given the shirt off her back to someone less fortunate. Andi had many hobbies and interests, including cheering on Notre Dame football and rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers. She was a frequent visitor at the local casinos, where her luck never ran dry hitting big on the slots. In her free time, she loved to sew, do crafts, and was a stellar cook. Having a fondness for dogs, she missed her pal, Ziggy who is now in heaven, and loved her oversized "lap dog" Ox. She often worked outside with her husband and visited the New Paris Speedway for the NOD events.
Andi is survived by her husband, Jon Bahr, and her son, Jonathan B. Bahr, both of Bristol, IN. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Evans; her father, Lexie Evans; and her daughter, Ashley Lynn Evans.
A celebration of life for Andi will be held at 2-4pm with a dinner beginning at 4pm, on Saturday, February 1, 2025, Bethany Missionary Church, 56295 CR 1, Elkhart, IN 46516. The family encourages those in attendance to please share stories of their favorite moments with Andi. Cremation services entrusted to Heritage Chapel, Berrien Springs 269-471-2700.
