Andre Lamont Bond

Andre Lamont Bond was born on December 9, 1980 and departed this life unexpectedly on October 21. 2025 in Hilo, Hawaii.  Though his time on earth was far too brief, Andre's adventurous nature led him to ultimately make Hawaii a place he called home.

Gifted in drawing, painting, and mural work, he used his talents to bring life to the spaces around him.  Andre also found peace in nature- Fishing, traveling, and observing the natural world.  He pursued his education at Hawaii Community College in Hilo, Hawaii.  

Andre leaves to cherish and  honor his memory his beloved children, Jaedon L. Bond and Jasmine Bond; his treasured grandson, Elliott Satterfield; his mother Kimberly (Clifford) Bond Kent; his father, George, Lamont Miller; his sister, Chasity (Cyrus) Patterson; his brother, Javon L. Miller; his uncles, Kurtis (Glenda) Bond, Wilson McCullough, and Shawn Parker; his aunts Dr. Iris (Larry) Bond Gill and Melanie Jones Nixon and a loving circle of cousins, including Maurice Parker, Stuart Echols, Carys Gill, Jocelyn Gill, Shonda Johnson and Agnel, Cameron and Cole Bond, along with close family friend, Tony Newbern, and a  host of other loved ones.

Andre was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Curtis Bond and Betty Bond Luttrell; his paternal grandparents, Emmanuel and Dolly Miller; his aunts, Geraldine Bond Johnson; and his cousin, Tracey Johnson.

Though Andre's earthly journey has ended, his spirit lives on in the many lives he touched.  We will cherish and honor his memory forever.

Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return
