Andrea Rose Gabriel, a beacon of love and creativity, passed away on July 20, 2025, in Flint, Michigan, at the age of 31. Born on February 25, 1994, Andrea's life was a tapestry of deep family bonds, a passion for education, and an unwavering dedication to her own family.
Andrea is survived by her parents Patti & Kasey Wardwell. Andrea's heart found its match when she married her soulmate, Jacob, on October 14, 2017, in Davison, Michigan. Together, they created a beautiful life and welcomed three wonderful children, Grayson, Layne, and Khileigh, who were the center of Andrea's world. Andrea also leaves behind her siblings Krystal (Bob) Hubler, Levi Wardwell, and Trenton Wardwell, and her beloved grandparents, Gerald Ford, and Dave & Ila Miller. She was a cherished niece to her special aunt Deanna Rayment and was surrounded by a lively circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws Roger & Kaylene Gabriel and brothers in law Jordon Gabriel, Jared (Alex) Gabriel who all benefited from her nurturing spirit. Her grandmother Beverly Ford, Marion Conger, great grandparents George & Frances Preletz, great grandmother Aileen Ford, Uncle Greg Ford and Jerry Rayment, who preceded her in death, were undoubtedly among the welcoming souls to greet her with love on the other side.
Andrea's calling to work with children led her to become a para pro for a local charter school. Her natural ability to connect with and inspire young minds was evident to all who worked with her.
Andrea's interests painted the picture of a woman who embraced the simple pleasures of life with gusto. She loved the beach, where she would bask in the sun and play in the sand with her kids. Country music was the soundtrack of her life, and she could often be found singing along to her favorite songs at concerts with friends and family. Andrea's dogs, Remi and Roxy, were more than pets; they were loyal companions and a source of endless joy.
Creativity flowed through Andrea's veins, a trait she shared with her Grandma Miller. Together, they would spend hours crafting beautiful pieces, which they proudly sold at craft shows. These moments were not just about creating art but about weaving a legacy of love and shared passions.
Andrea Rose Gabriel's life was a testament to the power of love, creativity, and selflessness. She approached every day with a heart full of love for others and a desire to make the world a brighter place. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her husband, children, parents, siblings, grandfather, and the countless lives she touched with her kindness and radiant spirit. Andrea's memory will be cherished and celebrated by all who knew her, and her light will continue to shine in the lives of her beloved family.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of life in honor of Andrea will be held from 2:00 PM- 6:00 PM on Saturday August 23, 2025, at Oregon Township Hall.
