After a battle with cancer, Andrea "Ann" Lee Belter Rivers passed away at the age of 68.She was born to Arnold and Crystal Belter in Cadillac, MI on April 19, 1956.Ann graduated from Cadillac High School in 1974. She attended Mercy Hospital of Nursing. She acquired her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin.Ann worked for Doctors Alexander and Witherington, Home Bound Home Healthcare, and Covington High School as a HOSA teacher. Anns last position as an RN was at St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. She loved those children and kept in contact with a few until her death.Ann married the love of her life, Jay Rivers, and the next day they moved to Tennessee. What a culture shock it was! Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Jay in September 2020.She leaves her 3 children, Eric with twins, Camden and Adriana of Cadillac, MI, Abbie (Benton) and three boys, Jack, Luke and William of Covington, TN, Gabe (Charley Morgan Moss) with two girls, Anna Charles and Mary-Margaret of Atlanta, GA. Her seven grandchildren were the light of her life.In lieu of flowers, the family request Memorials be offered to Covington First United Methodist Church. A celebration of life will be held at First United Methodist Church in the Christian Life Center on Sunday, December 01, 2024, at 3:00pm and the family will receive guests an hour prior. There will be a private burial at Covington Memorial Gardens at a later date.
