Andrew G. Bolek, 58, passed away on June 19, 2025. Andy was born on March 8, 1967 in Antigo, WI to Jean (Zoellick) and Henry Bolek.
Andy is survived by his long-time partner of 23 years, Cindy Thomas; As well as siblings, George Bolek of Illinois, Dan Bolek of Texas, and Katherine (Bolek) Loranger of Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Bolek (9/1/1999) and Jean Bolek (2/24/2021).
Andy was a Ford Certified Master Technician and was always mechanical. He rode motorcycles his entire life, from racing dirt bikes when he was young, through riding enduro off-road with Hill and Gully Racing Club, and then graduating to Harleys, which he enjoyed riding across the US with family and friends. Andy always had music in his life, and he started playing guitar as a kid. As an adult, he played in a hard rock band that went all the way to the finals of Battle of the Bands Chicago. He loved craft beer and started brewing his own. He loved all dogs, and all dogs loved him. He was always honest, reliable, and grounded. He embraced his nickname, Bacon, and had so many friends. Everyone loves Bacon.
A private service for family will be held at Oak Ridge Cemetery. A public celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2025 from 12:00 – 3:00 P.M. at Leez Place, 2738 N 48th Rd Sandwich, IL 60548. Arrangements were entrusted to Beverage Family Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.beveragefamilyfh.com
