Andrew T. Bieger, known lovingly as Andy to his friends and family, passed away on August 14, 2024, at the age of 64, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He left this world surrounded by the affection of his loved ones, in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Born on June 3, 1960, in Atlanta, GA, Andy was a man of intelligence, creativity and generous spirit. He gained a B.S degree in Biology at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, where he cultivated the foundation of knowledge that would inform his personal and professional life. Andy eventually changed his career to focus on his true love, woodworking, becoming well-respected in the industry over his 40-year tenure as a contractor.
Andy's was able to turn simple materials into structures and fixtures that not only served their purpose but also stood as a testament to his dedication and skill. Colleagues and clients alike knew Andy as a man who could be relied upon, not only for his craftsmanship but also for his innate ability to solve problems with grace and intelligence.
Beyond his professional achievements, Andy was a man who thrived in the embrace of nature. He found profound joy in woodworking, a hobby that allowed him to express his artistic side and his deep appreciation for the textures and possibilities of natural materials. The pieces he created were not only beautiful but also imbued with the warmth of his personality.
Andy's love for the outdoors extended to the water, where he spent countless hours boating and fishing. Living near the beach was a lifelong dream that he realized, and it provided him with endless opportunities for reflection and relaxation, always in awe of the vastness and beauty of the ocean.
Those who knew Andy will remember him as a man who was as generous with his time and talents as he was with his affection. He is survived by a close-knit family who cherished every moment spent with him: his brothers, Steve Bieger and Chris Bieger; his sisters-in-law, Eva Bieger and Emily Bieger; his beloved nephew, Jackson Bieger; his uncle, Don Bieger and aunt Dori Bieger, and cousins Michael & Matthew Bieger. Each family member carries forward a piece of Andy's spirit, his love for life, and his enduring kindness.
As we bid farewell to a man of such admirable qualities, we are reminded of the impact one life can have on so many others. His memory will continue to inspire and guide us.
Let us take comfort in knowing that Andy's legacy is one of enduring love and craftsmanship that will be felt for generations to come. He lived a life true to himself and left this world better than he found it.
