Elder Andrew Lee Couch 73, of Bradley, Arkansas, passed away on the evening of December 31, 2024, at Springhill Medical Center, Springhill, Louisiana. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He dedicated his life to Christ at an early age and was a proud member of the Universal True Holiness Church in Manderville, Arkansas under the leadership of Pastor Nard.
He was born to the late Theodis Couch and the late Evangelist Essie Bell Flowers, October 30, 1951, in Waldo, Arkansas. He married Rosie Ellis-Couch and to that union was born six children. He was a farmer and truck driver for A & D Farms. He was known for being a "Workaholic". He loved doing yard work with his Zero-turn mower. He also loved listening to gospel music by Lee Williams and Canton Spirituals.
He was preceded in death by both his parents. Two brothers, Otis Lee Couch and Ervin Flowers. Two sisters, Marzell Jack and Cebell Norton.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Mrs. Rosie Ellis-Couch of Bradley, Arkansas. Three sons, Otis Lee Ellis of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Andrew Lee Ellis (Shawanda) of Lewisville, Arkansas, and Antonyo D. Ellis (Genevia) of Star City, Arkansas. Three daughters, Patricia Couch of Bradley, Arkansas, Angella Couch (Carkennis Lee) of Cullen, Louisiana, and Lavern Couch of Texarkana, Texas. One Brother, Riley Grisby of Perrytown, Arkansas. Four sisters, Velma Davis of Bradley, Arkansas, Berlee White of Canfield, Arkansas, Rose Flowers of Texarkana, Texas and Marilyn Flowers of Stamps, Arkansas. A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and co-workers and friends.
His service will be held at the Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home Chapel; 415 East First Street, Saturday January 11, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. where Elder Scott will serve as Officiant and Eulogist, under the direction of the Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home Staff. A public visitation will be held on Friday, January, 10, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. until 3:30 P.M. Interment will be immediately following his service at St. James Cemetery in Waldo, Arkansas.
