Andrew Fornadel Jr., age 80, of Freedom, formerly of Fombell, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.
Born July 13, 1942 in Sewickley, he was the son of the late Lillian Shvach Kadlick and Andrew Fornadel, Sr.
Andrew was a member of the St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Cranberry Township. He was a graduate of both St. Veronica High School in Ambridge and Penn Technical Institute in Pittsburgh. He worked as an electronic technician for Boeing Aircraft in Great Falls, Montana and retired after 38 years of service from AT&T in Fombell, PA. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 60 years, Carol Jean Novak Fornadel who he married on August 29, 1962; his children, Andrew Brian (Lisa) Fornadel and Cheri Fornadel (John) Daw; his grandchildren, Andrew Michael (Kelsey) Fornadel, Marisa Fornadel, and Brian Hall; and his great-grandchildren, Liam Michael, Nora Jane, and Ella Rose Fornadel; and his brother, Daniel (Diane) Fornadel.
In addition to his parents, Andrew was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Jerry Barilaro.
Friends and family will be received on Monday, July 24, 2023 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the Memorial Mass at 10:00 A.M. at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church-Divine Grace Parish, 2535 Rochester Rd., Cranberry Twp., PA 16066.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Wisconsin Ave/P.O. Box 2155, Cranberry Township, PA 16066.
