Andrew A Furr born February 10, 1965 died January 8, 2025. Andrew was preceded in death by his parents Richard Lako Furr and Arnett Ardine Furr.
Andrew worked for the petroleum industry for years until he had to retire due to needing a life saving liver transplant in 2008 from the Cleveland Clinic. He went on to volunteer for the Lifeline of Ohio and received an ambassador of the year award. He then returned to work in 2010 for The Heart of Grove City where he was a great advisor and mentor. For 14 years he put on Wine and Arts festival, Mistletoe Market and many more events. He proudly served as a trustee on the Southwest Public Library board.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years Mary A. Furr, children Karli (Heath) Meyer , Joshua (Alicia) Furr, Christopher (Amy) Furr, Rachel (Erik) Houck . Grandchildren Rylee, Ethan, Brody, Charlotte, Eloise and Grayson. Siblings Teresa (Russ Atwood) Furr, Carolyn Furr and many loved ones.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Newcomer Funeral Home directly to help with funeral expenses or to the James Cancer Research Hospital or Life Line of Ohio.
In celebration of Andrew's life, a Memorial Gathering will be held on January 13, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service at 7:00 PM. Both services will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest, located at 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
