Andrew M. Gould Sr., of National Park, NJ, passed away on May 3rd, 2024 at the age of 88.
Family
Born to the late Walter and Pearla (nee Vandegrift) on April 22, 1936 in Harrisburg, PA. Andrew is the beloved brother to fourteen brothers and sisters. Growing up, Andrew's family loved spending time down the shore together, specifically in Ship Bottom and Brigantine. Andrew is reunited in death with the love of his life, the late Joan (nee Clark) Gould. The pair had so much love between them, they decided to share it by welcoming three loving children into their lives, Andrew (Kim) Gould Jr., Joan (Keith) Lassiter, and the late Lisa (Tim) Lucas. Andrew's world became much brighter when he became the grandfather of Andrew (April) III, Keith Jr., Cadiann, Kimberly, Keleigh, a great-grandfather of Andrew IV and Ava, and a cherished godfather of Heather. Andrew loved his family, he will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Legacy
Andrew's creativity was showcased on custom birdhouses he would build and paint. His son remembers fondly how they decorated the yard. He loved spending time outside if it was a nice day, he spent some time at Red Bank Battlefield watching the ships on the water. Andrew also enjoyed watching his favorite TV shows Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, silently watching over the neighborhood, and going out to eat at Cap'n Cats.
Andrew will be missed dearly for his kindness, humor, and love for his family.
Tribute
Interment will be held privately by the family.

He's my much loved dad.always had a memory of him .going to ship bottom,going to the dollar store and sniffing candles.ive learned from my dad to be loving and patient and how to make hotdog stew.the seashore a lighthouse a ship anything that reminds me of the sea reminds me of my dad.
