Andrew Scott Groover, 36, passed away peacefully at his residence on June 16, 2025. He was born on May 22, 1989, in Hinesville, Georgia, to John and Amanda Carol Moody Groover and lived in Long County all of his life.
Andy was employed with Walmart, in the maintenance department. Beyond his professional life, he made significant contributions to his community as a volunteer fireman with the Long County Fire Department.
In his personal life, Andy had interests that brought joy not only to himself but also to those around him. He cherished playing video games with his oldest daughter, creating special moments of bonding. Riding four-wheelers provided him with a sense of adventure, while tinkering with machinery satisfied his curiosity and mechanical abilities. He also enjoyed watching cartoons with his children.
Andy was preceded in death by his mother, Amanda Carol Groover.
He is survived by:
Wife, Tiffany Groover of Ludowici, Georgia
Father, John Groover of Ludowici, Georgia
Children, Olivia and Peyton Groover
Justin Bush all of Ludowici, Georgia
Brothers, Cliff Moody (Crystal)
Daniel Groover all of Ludowici, Georgia
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, Friday, June 20, 2025 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services. Burial will follow in Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery.
