Andrew E. Honard

Andrew E. Honard age 64, of Erie, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022 as a result of a motorcycle accident.

He was born on June 2, 1958 a son of the late Jerome and Pierette Nadeau Honard.

He was a 1976 graduate of Fairview High School.

Andrew worked as a quality inspector at GE for over 15 years.

He enjoyed riding motorcycles, snowmobiles and 4-wheelers. Andrew was a true "Motor Head" and had a high mechanical aptitude. He enjoyed re-building engines and tuning his muscle cars especially his 52 Ford pickup, motorcycles, ATV's and snowmobiles. He especially loved taking road trips with his wife across Canada and U.S. and spending time at his cabin on French Creek. Andrew also enjoyed golfing. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and taking them for rides on the 4-wheeler.

He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Janet Nielsen Honard; three children, Brooke Lorah and her husband Eric of Erie, Justin Honard of Los Angeles, CA and Kristen Stewart of New Hampshire; a brother, Daniel Honard and his wife Evelyn of Erie and two grandchildren, Shaylyn and Evan. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and lastly, his family that provided him with unconditional love and entertainment, Gino, Daisy, Bennie, Tula Lu and baby Leo
