Andrew Thomas Hostetter, Sr., passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

He was born on January 16, 1936, in Bells Valley, Virginia to the late William Edward, Sr. and Lena Martin Hostetter.

“Andy,” as everyone called him, was a member of Parkway Wesleyan Church in Staunton and also attended Victory Worship Center. He was a skilled rock, brick, and block mason—there wasn’t much he couldn’t do. A God-fearing man, Andy was always ready to help others whenever he could. He never met a stranger and was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Parkway Wesleyan Church in Staunton.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Parkway Wesleyan Church in Staunton with Pastor Adam Watts officiating.

Entombment will immediately follow at Augusta Memorial Park in Waynesboro.
