Andrew Ray Kolometz, 95, of Zanesville, died at 9:24 P.M. on February 1, 2022 at Primrose Retirement Community, Zanesville. He was born June 29, 1926, a son of the late Nick and Margaret Link Kolometz. Andrew was a planning manager for General Electric for 38 years before retiring and was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church. He was a life time member of the VFW George Selsam Post 1058, American Legion Post 29 and he was in the United States Navy, serving his country in World War 2 and the Korean War.
He is survived by his loving wife Jacqueline Lee McCullough Kolometz whom he married on January 31, 1973; two daughters, Andrea (John) Mateer of Fernandina Beach, FL and Robin Bagley of Bonita Springs, FL; a son, David (Sharon) Kolometz of Newark, OH; two step daughters, Cynthia (John) Lotane of Jacksonville, FL and Jeri (Jack) Johnson of Cambridge, OH; twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a great great granddaughter.
In addition to his parents, Andrew is preceded in death by a brother, Ted Kolometz.
Friends and family may call from 12:00 P.M. till 12:45 P.M. Monday, February 7, 2022 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with graveside services to be held at 1:00 P.M. at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
