Andrew M. "Andy" Kraemer

Andrew M. Kraemer, 81, of Toms River, NJ, passed away Friday, March 28, 2025 surrounded by his beloved family.
Born in Newark, NJ, he lived in Millburn, NJ before moving to Toms River 50 years ago.
Andy was a quiet and genuine man. He worked over 20 years as a Hospital Administrator at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank and St. Michael's Medical Center in Newark.
After his retirement, he enjoyed his part time jobs, the latest being a "Club Demonstrator" at Costco in Brick.
Andy's favorite things were golf, the Giants, the Yankees, going to the movies and a continuous love for fixing and tinkering all things, which also gave him the nickname "Handy Andy.". Most of all, he loved going on cruises with his wife of 40 years. He also loved attending all of his grandchildren's sporting events.
Andy was a true lover of all animals, especially the many dogs and cats in his life.
He was predeceased by his brother Joel Kraemer.
Andy is survived by his wife of 40 years Margie (nee Short) Kraemer, his son and daughter in law Scott and Lori Kraemer, his daughter and son in law Laura and Mark Roma, his brother Stephen Kraemer, his sister in law Joan Kraemer, his brother in law and sister in law Bob and Lorraine Short, five grandchildren Torrie and Matthew Ferrara, Koryn, Kylinn, Kevian Kraemer, step grandchildren Mark, Anthony and Dominic Roma and his dog Payton.
A memorial gathering will be offered Sunday, April 6, 2025 1:00pm – 3:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd., Toms River.
