Andrew G. Luce of Carver passed away at Tobey Hospital in Wareham on December 26, 2023, at the age of fifty-three. He was the beloved son of Dennis Luce and the late Christine (Coit) Luce; the loving brother of Anne Marie Lipper and her significant other David Downing of Carver, Lisa Luce and her significant other Thomas Dehnam of New York, Veronica Luce of Taunton; the cherished uncle of Jade Konopinski of New York, Jillian Lipper of Easton and Riley Lipper of Carver; the nephew of Patricia Ellis and her husband Chuck of Plymouth, Doreen Walton of Florida, Mary Provonche of Plymouth, Rick Coit of Plymouth, and Darrell Luce of Florida; the cousin of Sarah Cuny of Washington, Patrick Provonche of Plympton, and Rebkah Chandler of Plymouth.
Andrew was born on October 24, 1970, in Plymouth. He was a 1988 graduate of Plymouth-Carver High School. He worked at Lobster Hut in Plymouth for many years before becoming a cook supervisor at the Plymouth County Correctional Facility for twenty-eight years. He enjoyed watching the Red Sox and Pittsburgh Steelers. Opening day at Fenway Park was his favorite as well as trying his luck at Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos. He loved his prize cat "Hunter."
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
