Willie Earl Obituary

Willie Mae Earl KANNAPOLIS Ms. Willie Mae Earl, 77, of 371 Mooresville Rd., died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at the Tucker Hospice House, Kannapolis. Born May 15, 1935, Ms. Earl was the daughter of the late Etta Miller Earl and Herbert Earl. She was preceded in death by her son, Clifford Earl. Survivors include a sister, Ms. Mary Parks, of Charlotte; granddaughter, who was her caregiver, Clivette Daningburg, of Kannapolis; a niece, Frances Mcdougle (Jerry), of Charlotte; a daughter-in-law, Ms. Vera Earl, of Charlotte; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Ms. Earl are scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Silverhill Primitive Baptist Church, 162 Penrod Dr. SW, Concord. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m., with funeral services starting at 1 p.m. The Rev. Plyler Hemphill, pastor, will be the eulogist. Burial will follow in the Rutherford Memorial Park. Lamb Funeral Home, Inc. is serving the Earl family.
