Andrew Michael Scherer, 49, (Andy) of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away August 6th 2025. He was born on November 15th 1975 in St. Louis County.

In Andrew’s early life he played baseball and hockey and spoke very highly of those memories. He graduated from Bayless Highschool, and worked for FedEx through his 20s, but quickly joined the local 1 electrical union and spent 20+ years with them. He loved his job. He is survived by his daughter (Mallorie Scherer) and son (Andrew Scherer II), mother (Regina Scherer) and brother (Karl Scherer).

Andrew was always charismatic, outgoing, loving, funny, and supportive. He will never be forgotten and he is very loved by many, forever.

Andrew’s funeral ceremony will be held at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Home, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63129, on August 15th, 2025 at 10:30AM, followed by his burial.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Andrew II & Mallorie Scherer at our GOFUNDMELINK. Thank you, all friends and family, for supporting us through this difficult time. We love you. Andrew’s spirit lives on in all the ones he loved.
