Andrew "Andy" Stephen Sutherland, 55, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday May 15, 2025. He was born, the youngest of four children, on June 14, 1969, to Lloyd and Gale (Oakes) Sutherland. Andy was a graduate of Tomah High School, class of 1988, where he played baseball, football, and was on the wrestling team. Upon graduation, he moved to Florida and worked for a landscaping business before moving back to Warrens. He worked a variety of jobs, one of his favorites was working for Schwan's. He ended his career working for Cardinal Glass. He gave his best in all of his work and was a great provider.
Andy married the love of his life, Kerry, on May 9, 1992, at the Assembly of God Church in Tomah. Together they had two beautiful children, Analisa (Sutherland) Hood, and Ryan Sutherland. Andy's life revolved around his family, and his love for his savior Jesus Christ. He was very gifted in music. A love that he shared with his family, especially his daughter. Andy lovingly sang to his bride on their wedding day, and then to his daughter as he walked her down the aisle on her wedding day. He served on the worship team at Living Stones Fellowship along with Darin Oakes, Kris Oakes, Deb Frost, and Diana Fischer. Andy's love to serve God also led him to be a youth leader for many years.
He loved watching the Green Bay Packers, and remained a faithful fan, even thru the 80's with his Uncle Lloyd. He enjoyed the outdoors and deer hunting with family. He coached Analisa's middle school softball team for one season. He also enjoyed playing many seasons of bar league softball, and a "45 years and older" baseball league with his brother-in-law Dave Keene. He volunteered on Ryan's wrestling team to help teach kids different skills and help them advance to see their full potential. He loved his role as Grandpa. He never turned down a moment to play with his grandkids, and he received so much joy in their smiles and laughter.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kerry, daughter Analisa (Jake) Hood, son Ryan (Aimee – Girlfriend) Sutherland. Grandchildren Alex, Emily, and Briggs. Parents Lloyd and Gale Sutherland, Sister Jolene (Dave) Keene, Brothers Scott (Terri) Sutherland and Lon Sutherland.
In addition to aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other cousins and friends, who he loved very much.
He is preceded in death by two grandchildren, Greyson Hood and Baby Hood #5 "Sky" his father -in-law and mother-in-law Don and Mary Buck, and sister-in-law Penni Sutherland, his grandparents, Stephen (Esther) Sutherland, Charlotte (John) Shaw and Glen and Rose Oakes.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, 12:00 Noon at the Living Stones Fellowship Church, 310 Main St. Warrens, WI 54666. Pastor Darrin Oakes will officiate.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Online Condolences may be sent to www.sonnenburgfamilyfh.com.
