Ronald Stolzman Obituary

Ronald "Ronnie" Stolzman

October 10, 1949 - February 7, 2026

Ronald "Ronnie" Stolzman, 76 of Warrens/Tomah WI passed away peacefully Saturday February 7, 2026 at Emplify Health, La Crosse, WI with his beloved wife, Sarah by his side.

He was born October 10, 1949, in Sparta WI to Edgar and Mildred (Board) Stolzman. Ronnie grew up in the Tomah WI area and graduated from Tomah High School. He worked as an electrician in Tomah WI and Kenosha WI before returning to Tomah where he retired from USEMCO in 2016.

Ron was known for his contagious laugh, passionate personality and big heart. His laughter filled a room and brought joy to all around him. Ronnie met his wife Sarah in 2005 and married in 2008. After retiring he took great pride in caring for the home he and Sarah shared along with their fur babies, Charlie and the late Bobbie and Maggie May. Everyone looked forward to his and Sarah's Labor Day picnics, which brought together family and friends to share treasured memories and a game or two in the sun.

Ron enjoyed many things outdoors. Fishing and hunting and spending summer days rummaging for treasures. He was always ready for friendly competitions and leagues including darts, pool and horseshoes. He was always happy to teach anyone that wanted to learn how to throw the perfect 6 pack and multiple ringers! He loved the Brewers and the Green Bay Packers and was a loyal fan his whole life.

Ron is survived by his wife Sarah Stolzman-Nelson, sister Carolyn Roberts, daughter-in-law Bridget (Tim McIntosh), 2 step children Tonya (Jason) Warren, Tim Nelson, grandchildren, Brittany (Dustin) Bailey, Ronald Stolzman II , Roger Stolzman Jr, Cameron (Darien) Nelson, Haley (Kyle) Larson, Jaelynn Nelson, Tristen Warren and Kendall Warren, Great grandchildren Braiden & Connor Bailey, Luxton Larson, nieces Lori Roberts, Ann Clark, Kris Marquez, great nephew Joseph (Haley Vollmer) Roberts and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Father Edgar Stolzman, Mother Mildred Stolzman, Brother Robert Stolzman, Son Roger Stolzman, Niece Carla McGarry, nephew John Stolzman, Brother-in-law Leo Roberts and Mother-in-law Ardell Suiter.

No funeral or celebration of life will be held per Ron's request. Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences may be offered by visiting www.sonnenburgfamilyfh.com.
