ANDREW JONATHAN WIRTH

June 20, 1983 – July 25, 2025

Bakersfield – Andrew was born in Concord, California to Adolph and Susan Wirth. He lived one year in Walnut Creek, California. Then the family moved to Coalinga, California for six years. He started 2nd grade at Lakeside School in Bakersfield then moved to Laurelglen Elementary in 4th grade. He was co-president of the school in 6th grade with his friend, Ace Garcera. Andrew spent his 7th and 8th grade years at 3 different schools: Tevis Junior High, Pond School and Fairfax School. He gave a speech at the Fairfax School 8th grade graduation.

Andrew graduated from Bakersfield High School, Bakersfield College and the University of California Santa Barbara with a degree in Business Economics. Then he met the requirements to become a certified public accountant.

Andrew loved Santa Barbara and was very successful working there. After working several years at Santa Barbara's largest private accounting firm he decided to start his own business, AW Capital and Consulting, LLC. He specialized in developing business plans for creative people. He returned to Bakersfield later to be with his girlfriend, Shelby Thurley.

Andrew fell on July 2nd and developed brain bleed and brain swelling. We would like to thank the kind and wonderful nurses and doctors at Kern Medical Center for the excellent care they provided for our son. The injury was too great however and he left us on July 25th.

Andrew is survived by his parents Adolph and Susan, his older brother Anthony (Jessie Liu), his younger sister Kirsten (Tera Neumann), his niece Athena, and nephew Oliver. Extended family includes his Uncles Allan, Manuel, Don (Cindy) and Aunt Sharon (Tim) as well as many cousins and dear friends. Gunnar and Maxton Tornstrom will especially miss him. A memorial celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, August 30th at 2:00 pm, at First Congregational Church, 5 Real Road. A reception will follow the service.
