Andrew James Klatt (Andy) died September 2, 2025 surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Bethesda, Maryland on December 17, 1967 the older son of Kenneth and Barbara Klatt, and brother to Paul Klatt.
The family moved to Ohio and settled in Granville. An honor student, Andy graduated from Granville High School in 1986. He then attended the College of Wooster, graduating with honors with a Bachelor of Arts degree in the spring of 1990. That fall Andy enrolled in The Ohio State University College of Law. He graduated in the spring of 1993, and passed the Ohio Bar that summer. After law school Andy began working for the Ohio Industrial Commission as a hearing o cer. He served in that capacity for over thirty years.
Andy married Courtney Larrimer on November 9, 2002. The couple raised three children, daughter Lanie, and sons Drew and Tim. Besides his wife, three children, parents, and brother; Andy is survived by his mother-in-law Susie (Tom) Williams, father-law John (Karen) Larrimer, brother-law John (Sara) Larrimer, and sister-in-law Tracy Larrimer.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 26, at the Columbus Country Club, 4831 E. Broad St. The program will consist of opening remarks at 2:00 P.M. followed visitation with light refreshments.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research, The James Development O ce, 660 Ackerman Road, P. O. Box 183112, Columbus, Ohio 43218-3112.
