Andrew "Andy" John Pietrzyk, age 62, passed away February 17, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on August 27, 1963, to Joseph and Josephine Pietrzyk, Andy was known for his humor, generosity, and faith. Andy was a graduate of Machebeuf High School and proceeded to attend the University of Colorado and earned a Bachelor of Economics in 1988. He later attended Regis University to earn a Master of Business Administration in 2001.
Andy married Deb Pietrzyk in 1991, and they were happily married for 21 years before Deb passed away in 2012.
A Colorado native, Andy was an avid outdoorsman, hunter, and fisherman. He enjoyed the lakes, reservoirs, and wilderness that Colorado provided. He frequented outings to these places with his dear friends and sons Alex and Mike.
Andy was also deeply involved with the church. There he generously shared his gift of music with the guitar. Over the years he played for weekly masses at different parishes including St. Vincent de Paul, All Souls, and most recently Mother Cabrini’s Shrine.
He is survived by his sons Alex and Mike Pietrzyk, as well as his sister Paula Randall and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Deb, sister Barb, brother Steve, and parents Joseph and Josephine.
Visitation and Rosary will be held Tuesday, March 3, 5:00PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E Dartmouth Ave, Aurora.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 4, 10:00AM at All Souls Catholic Church, 4950 S Logan St, Englewood followed by burial at Fairmount Cemetery 430 S Quebec St, Denver.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in support of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
Andy will be remembered by all who knew him for his deep devotion to his family and faith, his love of the guitar, and the lasting joy he brought others through the many lives he touched.
