Angel Quincy Morro

Angel Quincy Morro was born January 26th, 2000, and he was welcomed into heaven with open arms on June 9th, 2024. He was 24 years old. Angel was born in Odessa, Texas to Susan Ann Morro. Shortly following the birth of her sweet baby boy, Susan relocated to Hobbs, New Mexico, where she met Charles Stewart. Charles would go on to fall in love with not only Susan but her perfect little baby as well. As time went on Angel grew into a caring and bright-eyed child. By 7 years old he was fearless, from the back window of his grandmother Mary and grandfather Cary’s house; the family watched as memories were created. The children of the house learned, laughed and shouted until the stars came out. From back yard dirt bike rallies to the tops of swing sets, Angel loved spending time outdoors on adventures with his cousins Caleb, Myranda, Zach, Hannah, Katerina, and Justin. While still a young boy Angel played football and loved it! This sport and teammates he leaned on instilled leadership, confidence, and even love into him. He realized that he could be whoever he wanted, and that the world was in his hands. Angel was so very loved and had so much impact on his friends, family, teammates and classmates. At the young age of 11 Angel had already picked up a skateboard and he taught himself to skate. Little did he know he would grow into one of the best skaters Hobbs had ever seen. When Angel was 14 years old, he had already seen and fought his way through more battles than some people may experience in a lifetime, but the fearless bright-eyed boy remained. He surrounded himself with friends that would eventually become like family Jaiden, Pryde, Daniel, Tyler, Alex, Kaleb and many more that made him feel loved and accepted. Some would become family, like Owen Lewis. At the age of 15 Owen met Angel who was 14 at the time, and soon after he started to love the kind heart that so many already knew to appreciate and cherish. When Owen invited his new best friend home, his mother Sharon Lewis heard from the Holy Spirit that the young Angel was a kind soul and had a challenging path ahead of him.  She knew she would love to help guide him along that path. Little did she know, her life and children’s lives would be forever changed by the young man standing in front of her. As Angel went around more and more Sharon, Owen, and Devon Lewis would end up welcoming Angel into their home as his extended family. Angel adjusted well to the dynamic of his extended family and found his footing. Unfortunately, following a traumatic event his junior year he moved away to California and his life slowly started to change. In the streets of Long Beach California Angel transitioned from a wild teen to a free-spirited Man. Running free or shall I say skating through the streets of Cali free as can be. He was very happy, navigating his way through the town with newfound friends.  He began his journey in finding his identity and purpose. After living in California, he reluctantly had to return to New Mexico. Soon after returning he rekindled a high school flame with Angel Lynda Orosco. Side by side they would move to Alamogordo, New Mexico and be married on the 20th of May 2020. They lived in Alamogordo for a few years before returning to Hobbs for the birth of their first child Angel Quincy J. Morro in September of 2021. The family worked their way through parenthood, struggles, accomplishments, and everyday life. They learned of the great news of their second child Antonio G. Morro soon after the closing of Angels family owned and beloved business, Daylight Donuts. Angel discovered a sense of belonging when he was introduced to Cossacks MC. Although Cossacks MC held a special place in his heart Angel went on to, with the help of others, become a founding member and establish his own motorcycle club Del Barrio MC. He remained a cornerstone of the club for the duration of his life, going from Srgt. In arms to Club President. In his free time, he enjoyed lounging around with his wife and children, watching movies, eating all the best foods, and planning for the future they had hoped would eventually fall into place. He will be greatly missed and cherished by the entire community of Hobbs and Alamogordo, New Mexico all the way to California and everywhere between. Upon the tragic news of Angels passing his longtime friend Richard Alex McComas wrote a poem for Angel: 

In this filthy life filled with death and beauty

I lose another friend,

I lose a brother again.

I lose a piece of me,

I lose a piece of my youth

And I lose everything that I was with you.

You loved life and made sure to get a handful every time.

What I didn't lose are the memories I've gained with you.

I always knew your experience was warranted

Most like everyone,

But you my brother,

My friend are a true definition of what burns the brightest burns the fastest.

Angel was welcomed into heaven by his grandfather Sam Morro, his best friends Jose Hernandez, Chase Horton and his beloved extended Mama Pricilla Ann Rosa. He is survived by his loving and loyal wife Angel Lynda Orosco, and their two beautiful babies Angel Quincy J. Morro and Antonio G. Morro, Sharon S. Lewis, Owen Lewis, Devon Lewis, Heather and John Appleton, Racheal Witulski, Trinity Hermann, Clifton Morro, Samantha Morro, Susan Ann Morro, Charles Stewart numerous cousins, a nephew, a niece and friends.
