Angela M. Armstrong, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, in Lansing, Michigan. Born on Christmas Day in 1972, Angela's life began in Kalamazoo, Michigan, she was the daughter of William Armstrong and Carolyn Shortridge.
Angela's life was a rich tapestry woven with the threads of a happy family, fulfilling work, and diverse interests. She shared an unbreakable bond with her significant other, Jason Logan, and was a cherished mother to Ashley Petree, Thomas Petree, and Matthew Nosanov. Her joy was multiplied with the arrival of her grandchildren, Caden, Ivy, Eve, and Mila, who filled her days with laughter and wonder. Angela's heart was big enough to encompass not only her human family but also her beloved fur babies, Charlie, Jasmin, Bella, and Max.
The daughter of James Harvath, and sister to Rodney Armstrong, Melissa Bolton, and Jessica Harvath, Angela was a source of strength and inspiration within her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Armstrong and Carolyn (Shortridge) Harvath, her brother Jamie Harvath, and her adored grandma Betty Harvath, all of whom had instilled in her the values of kindness and resilience.
Angela's professional life was marked by over 15 years of dedicated service at Macy's department store, where she was not only a respected employee but also a friend to many. Her colleagues will remember her for her sense of humor and her ability to brighten even the most ordinary day.
A woman of many passions, Angela found joy in photography, capturing the beauty of the world through her lens. She was an avid gardener; her hands often dusted with soil as she tended to her flowers with loving care. Each holiday season was a showcase of her decorating talents, as she transformed her home into a festive wonderland. Angela's love for puzzles and games was a testament to her sharp mind and playful spirit, and her voice was a familiar and beloved sound at karaoke nights.
Music was a constant companion for Angela, a soundtrack to her life's spontaneous adventures. She marveled at the beauty of butterflies, animals, and all of nature's creations. Her love for horses and dolphins spoke of her deep connection to the earth and its inhabitants.
Angela's family will receive friends on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at the Williams-Gores Funeral Home, Delton, where her memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place at East Hickory Cemetery.
