Born on January 20, 1935, in the town of Santa Barbara, Caserta, Italy, Angela was the beloved daughter of the late Nicola Fiorillo and Maria Pontillo. Her life journey changed forever in 1957 when she met her husband, Anthony, through a photograph sent to her by her dear friend, Lisa Lubrico. Anthony traveled to Italy to meet and marry Angela in October 1957. Seeking a stable future for her family, Angela went on to work at General Electric as an assembler in Unit A8, dedicating 22 years of service there before retiring in February 1995. She then returned to her passion as a cook once again at the Wagon Wheel until her final retirement in October of 1998 when she left there to take care of her newest granddaughter, Mikaela full time.
Angela's life was defined by her passion for cooking and baking. She had an uncanny ability to bring people together through food, generously sharing her homemade pizza, meatballs, cookies and angel wings with friends and family. Her kitchen was a sanctuary of love, laughter, and delectable aromas, where Angela crafted memories that would last a lifetime. Angela will be remembered for her boundless love, her unwavering dedication to her family, and her warm and generous spirit.
