Angela Sue Mullins (Espy), 58, of Manchester, TN, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.
Angie was born on November 4, 1966, in Manchester, TN, the daughter of Wayne Espy and Susie Espy (Anderson).
She graduated from Riverdale High School where she was an accomplished multi-sport athlete in 1985 and married Clifford Hoyte Mullins on July 20, 1991. Not long after, they welcomed Nicholas Mark (born 1994) and Markie Suzanne (born 1997). Angie held many jobs throughout her life, but being a mother was her true calling. She was a natural caregiver who never met a stranger and had a special way of making people feel welcome. Her favorite pastimes included watching reality TV and experimenting in the kitchenwhere she could cook better than just about anyone!
Her children were her greatest joy, and she was their biggest fan. She never missed a concert, musical, ball game, or event, always making sure everyone knew she was Nick and Markies mom.
Angie was a member of Noahs Fork Baptist Church, where she was baptized as a young adult. She lived as an example of Jesus teachings, embracing everyone she met with open arms.
Those left to cherish Angies memory include her husband, Clifford Mullins; her children, Nicholas Mullins and Markie Mullins Gibson (husband Ryan); her parents, Wayne and Susie Espy; her sister, Tammy Bledsoe (husband Billy); and her nieces and nephews, Ashley Bledsoe, Daniel Bledsoe (wife Tara), Kala Parker, and Mark Mullins. She also leaves behind dozens of beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Wayne Espy.
Visitation will be held on March 17 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Manchester Funeral Home, located at 786 McMinnville Hwy, Manchester, TN 37355. Funeral services will take place on March 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Manchester Funeral Home, with Steve Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Farrar Hill Cemetery.
