Angela Kay Rippe, age 70, of Porter, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, in Valparaiso, Indiana. She was born on May 2, 1954, in Valparaiso, Indiana, to Charles and Lois (Lagenour) Self. Angela is survived by her son, Steven Larry Rippe; daughters, Carie Rippe, Brandy Rippe; grandchildren, Dalton Rippe, Corbin Rippe, Mya Ream, Chloey Ream and Andrew Rippe; brothers, Norman (Beth) Self, William Self and Darrin Self; sisters, Michelle (Todd) Welton, Sherie (Tom) Gilbert; step-sisters, Lisa (Danny) Robinson and Sara (Will) Long; 6 great-grandchildren and significant other, Mike Kingery. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Ray Self; mother, Lois Hazel Self; brothers, Tony Self and Alan Self and sisters, Anita Webb and Althea Long.Angela enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed deeply.Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 6:00 pm at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, IN 46304. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 4:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.ee-fh.com.
