Angie Cossa Stabile passed away peacefully on November 5, surrounded by the love of her family. Born into the large and lively Cossa family, Angie was the second youngest of sixteen brothers and sisters-a proud member of a close-knit clan that shaped her generous spirit and zest for life.
Angie was a vibrant, young-at-heart woman, who lived each day with joy, independence, and humor. Her warmth and love extended deeply to her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense pride and happiness to her life. She loved shopping, reading true crime novels, watching reality TV shows ("Dancing with the Stars" was her favorite show) and spending her days with her beloved grand dog, Tango, who joyfully accompanied her on errands, and dog park adventures.
Angie's lifelong passion for the arts and her creative inventiveness shone brightly through her many creative accomplishments. She was a published playwright, with several off-Broadway productions to her name, and the author of two cherished children's books. A gifted storyteller, Angie had the rare ability to captivate any audience, especially children, who loved gathering around her to hear her enchanting tales. Her imagination and love for storytelling will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Angie is survived by her sister Jean Vitale, her loving partner Nick, her devoted children Robert Stabile and her daughter-in-law Elaine, Carrie Stabile and her husband Robert, and James Stabile; her grandchildren Lauren Stabile and her husband David, Robert Stabile and his wife Lindsey, and Nicholas Stabile and his wife Melissa; and her four great-grandchildren Olivia, Gianna, Nicholas, and Wyatt. She also leaves behind more than forty nieces and nephews who adored their Aunt Angie and will forever cherish her warmth, laughter, and endless stories.
Angie's beautiful spirit, creativity, and deep love for family will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege to know her.
