Angela Dawn Tilley, age 47, of Carroll County, KY, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024, in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. She was born on December 26, 1976, in Louisville.
Angela was a dedicated individual as the kitchen manager of Casey's General Store in Carrollton She was a graduate of Carroll County High School and furthered her education by obtaining an associate's degree in business accounting.
Outside of work, Angela found joy in the simplicities of life. She had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, often immersing herself in its beauty. Music held a special place in her heart, and she could often be found listening to her favorite tunes. In her free time, she enjoyed riding her bike and cherishing moments spent with her children.
Angela will be fondly remembered by her surviving family members including her husband, Johnnie Tilley of Owenton, KY; daughter Kaylee E. Tilley of Richmond, KY; son Dylan A. Tilley of Owenton, KY; sisters Teresa Cox of Carrollton, KY, Cindy Perry of Vevay, IN, and Crystal Dunn of Carrollton, KY; brothers David Steelman of Milton, KY, Jimmy Steelman of Carrollton, KY, Thomas Moebius of Owenton, KY, Mitchell Orton of Missouri; and preceded in death by; father Larry Dagnan and mother Sherry Kay Hoopengarner; grandparents James and Mary Smitha and Ismal and Rhoda Dagnan.
A visitation to honor Angela's life will take place on Thursday, June 27th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton. This will be followed by a Funeral Service from 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will take place in the Moffett Cemetery in Milton, KY.
Angela's compassionate spirit and genuine love for those around her will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
