OBITUARY
A beautiful, bouncing baby girl was born to Albert Rainer, Jr. and Wilma Jean Jackson Rainer on August 11, 1967, in Richmond Texas and they name their precious jewel Angelia Yvette Rainer. Angie was the 6th of ten children and the 1st set of twins born to this union.
Angie inherited a rich legacy of faith, and family, from her grandmother Lula. Angie grew into a powerful Prayer Warrior.
Angie accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by the Late Rev. J.J. Brown. Angie was an active member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. She served on various auxiliaries, Youth and Young Adult choir member, Sunday School and BTU. She was also a passionate Vacation Bible School Teacher. Angie was faithful to Zion Hill until her passing.
Angie attended B.F. Terry High School in Rosenberg, TX and graduated in May 1986. She also graduated from Microtechnology Institute Houston, TX.
Angie was a giver she was always willing to extend a helping hand. With that same giving spirit, she joined the Order of Eastern Star Jeremiah Smith Chapter #73 where she served as Warder.
Angie begin her working career of giving at Polly Ryan Hospital, Texana and Richmond State School. She retired from Richmond State School in March of 2020.
Angie was welcomed home by her parents Albert and Wilma Rainer, sibling Lisa D. Rainer, grandparents F. T. Jackson and Lula Jackson-Stewart, Albert Rainer, Sr., and Pauline Green, Kathryn Nation Rainer and nephew Jarrod Rainer.
Angie answered the Macedonia call on Saturday, August 10, 2024.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her crown jewels, children Jerrold Duane Rainer, and April Monique Compton. Her precious stone, granddaughter, Aryiah Yvette Ross, Siblings Ronnie Q. Rainer (Belinda), Rev. Frank T. Rainer (Jacqueline), Christopher S. Rainer, Adriane Y. Rainer, Nicole C. Rainer, Kynia L. Rainer, Kenric D. Rainer, Brandon C. Rainer, (Krista), Shaneika Berry (Garland). God children Brittany Smith, Roderick J. Rainer, and Ayden J. Routt and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
